Delete your account

In the app

Open Profile > Account settings > Delete account, enter your current password and confirm.

Without the app

No longer have the app? Delete your account on the web at https://api.clusterfit.app/account/delete?lang=en with your email address and password.

Forgot your password? Choose "Forgot password?" on the ClusterFit login screen to set a new one first. No longer have access to your email address? Email [email protected]; we may ask for details to confirm the account is yours.

What is deleted

Deletion is immediate, permanent and cannot be undone. It removes:

• your account: name, email address, password and any pending email change;
• your profile: goal and Defence cluster;
• your workouts, workout plans, custom exercises and notes;
• your programs and planned workouts;
• your Military assessment results and rounds;
• your badges;
• all sign-in tokens (every device is signed out) and any password reset codes.

Afterwards we schedule a confirmation to the email address the account had. A mail-provider failure does not restore the deleted account.

What is not deleted straight away

• Server logs and database backups can still contain traces of the account until they are overwritten (logs: 30 days; backups: 30 days).
• Short-lived rate-limit counters based on a hashed IP address, account number or email address can remain for a few minutes.
• Our email provider keeps delivery logs of the emails we sent you for [to be confirmed: email-provider log retention period].
• Your language choice and some display preferences stay on your device. After the app confirms an in-app deletion, it also removes its reminders and reminder settings from the device. After deletion on the web, scheduled reminders are cleared the next time you open the app. Uninstalling clears SecureStore values on Android, but iOS Keychain values may remain after uninstall and reinstall.

ClusterFit does not create a separate archive or anonymised copy of the deleted account.

Delete your account on the web

Enter the email address and password of your ClusterFit account. This immediately deletes the account and its account-linked data from the live service; the limited temporary copies described above expire separately.
